This video reminds all seafarers that entering enclosed spaces can be dangerous. It is a sister video to ‘Entry to Enclosed Spaces’. Enclosed spaces are areas with little or no ventilation, limited openings and which are not intended for continual occupation. Every year, seafarers and would-be rescuers die in them. They are killed by low levels of oxygen. The audience will learn about the link between low atmospheric oxygen and low blood oxygen. The video emphasises that you must never attempt to enter an enclosed space on your own. You should, for the sake of your own life, always use correct procedures when entering enclosed spaces.
